Testimonials

Just a brief note to say how delighted I am with the Melanie (9.6 sqm) Log Cabin I bought from you. Your service and price were superb and Greg and Craig came at 9am on Tuesday and worked right through until 8pm to build it.

They did an excellent job and did not stop all day. Greg advised that I should paint the door and windows a different colour as otherwise the green painted log cabin would be ‘lost’ in the garden and I took their advice. I used two different colours of Butinox No. 3 and the result is absolutely incredible. Many thanks once again. One hugely satisfied customer.

The delivery lorry arrived about eleven o’clock and the driver duly unloaded two very large packages. At eleven thirty my neighbour and I began to investigate these well protected packages.

Just after three o’clock that afternoon, two self satisfied men were enjoying a well deserved beverage whilst admiring the 4.5 by 3.5 meter cabin which was now completed up to roof purling level.

The construction of the cabin was so logical and easy, just like assembling ‘Lego blocks’ only heavier.

We absolutely love our Summer House – we can seat 16 people inside it, it stays warm long after the sun has gone down and it is particularly special as we run a B&B, so we can escape into it, invite all our friends to parties in it and now, we have installed electricity so can have lighting, heat and music as and when needed. It also provides a really big area to store all our garden furniture during the winter months.

We would absolutely recommend you to anyone considering buying one. Many thanks.

FAQ

Do you offer delivery and installation?

Yes! We offer free UK mainland delivery. Our friendly delivery team will do their best to offload your clock house log cabin in the most convenient spot for you, making things as easy as possible.

Most of our garden buildings are easy enough to assemble on your own and come with detailed instructions if you’re interested in a DIY project, but if you prefer to skip the construction process, we do offer a professional installation service at an additional cost.

Is floor insulation included with the cabin?

Floor insulation isn’t included as standard, but we highly recommend it if you plan to use your cabin throughout the year. It makes a noticeable difference, keeping things warmer in winter and cooler in summer. That said, most Clockhouse cabins come with solid 19mm tongue and groove floorboards, which provide a sturdy base and a bit of natural insulation on their own.

Will the cabin be quiet inside?

Yes! Some of our models have 44 mm walls and double-glazed windows and doors, which offer some natural sound insulation, helping to reduce external noise and create a peaceful, relaxing environment inside your cabin. For extra soundproofing, you can add additional insulation options.

What can a clock house log cabin be used for?

A Clockhouse log cabin is incredibly versatile and can be adapted to suit your lifestyle. It’s perfect as a summer house where you can relax and enjoy the warmer months or as a stylish home office with plenty of natural light.

You can also use it to expand your garden space, create a cozy hobby room, or even as a practical storage room. Many people also turn their cabins into extra living space, whether it’s a peaceful retreat, a guest room, or a creative studio. The possibilities are endless!

And for a charming finishing touch, why not add your very own garden clock above the double doors? With a front gable feature as the perfect backdrop, it’s a cute and classic accessory that makes your cabin feel even more like home.

What kind of roofing is included?

Each cabin comes with 19mm thick tongue and groove roof boards as standard. These solid boards offer excellent durability and a clean internal finish, ready for your choice of external roof covering.

The cabin kit does not include roof covering as standard, but you can select from a variety of roofing materials during checkout.

Can I customise the layout or add interior walls?

Some customers choose to add partitions or wall off sections to create multiple zones within the cabin, like a workspace and a lounge area. While the cabin is supplied as an open-plan structure, the internal space can be customised to suit your needs, as long as any alterations don’t interfere with the structural integrity.
